gogo159: Great technique and beautiful colours.........how did you keep it focused at such a long focal length?
 
CdL Creative: It was taken with a Canon 70-300 IS lens. Lens wide open, ISO 1600 and the camera set to aperture priority, so all I have to do is watch the chosen shutter speed in the viewfinder. Even at the longest focal length I've found that the stabiliser means I get a reasonable success rate at 1/30th sec and sometimes even slower. Steve
